And it is all thanks to this girl. Her name is Fenny, she is dutch and working as a doctor in Holland.

My cousin died at the age of 24. Unfortunately it was years since I met him last time. However I've always heard good things about him from friends we had in common. I'll never forget you Jon.

On top of that I finally had to realize that what happens when you spit out a piece of chocolate is not worth waiting for. Not in this case anyway. The girl of my dreams at the moment slipped away for reasons that are beyond me.

As soon as the rain stopped for a few days everyone headed to the mountains. This shot is taken on Prekestolen, 650m above the fjord you can see down there. It's never been as crowded as this when I've been there before.

The last few months I've been travelling more than is strictly healthy I'm afraid, but at least I've seen a lot of new places and people. The last two big trips I've had was to Texas and to Ontario. Both nice places, Texas is weird and different and Ontario is somewhere in between the US and Europe.

At an age closer to 30 than 20 by far I finally managed to grow something I can call a beard without people laughing at me. At least as long as I don't try extending the beard into the lesser hairy parts of my face.

While the rest of us where cheking the ice, Kjetil decided to work on his tan.

Watching a hurricane

One of the days we had offshore a hurricane stopped everyone but us from working on the platform. We found a calm place.

This is actually what I work with for a living. I scan using a 3D-laser scanner. However I don't normally scan myself like this, but oil-rigs and other industrial stuff. Speaking of which, I'll be offshore a couple of weeks now and the updates won't be regular for this period of time.

The color version of this shot was amazingly disgusting. I normally don't look at the keyboard other than with my peripheral sight so when I picked up my camera and took a closer look I couldn't exactly say I enjoyed what I saw. Those spots of dirt you see on this shot are actually "ear-wax-yellow".
