Watching a hurricane
One of the days we had offshore a hurricane stopped everyone but us from working on the platform. We found a calm place.

How I go from where I work to where I sleep every day offshore.
This time I was on a platform without normal living quarters, so this was how I got from my bedroom to my equipment.
The place I was supposed to sleep and eat the past week.
I was supposed to sleep on this platform, but due to storms, pilots not flying overtime and god knows what I barely saw my bed more than a couple of days.

ironically these stairs lead to a flare and I guess flames are more related to that other place starting with 'h'.

a sample of me in 3D
This is actually what I work with for a living. I scan using a 3D-laser scanner. However I don't normally scan myself like this, but oil-rigs and other industrial stuff. Speaking of which, I'll be offshore a couple of weeks now and the updates won't be regular for this period of time.
